Revolution Moto is a very proud sponsor of our local scootering club, the PostMods Scooter Squad, and would like to remind everyone of next weekend’s First Sunday of the Month Group Ride. These rides are free and open to the scootering community, from the complete scootering newbie to advanced riders and every avid scooterist in between.
THIS MONTH’S HIGHLIGHTS IN BULLET FORM:
This Sunday, kick off August in style with the PostMods Scooter Squad, as we host another jaw-dropping group ride thru Sonoma’s wine country. Beautiful backroads include Bennett Valley to Sonoma Mountain Road, Arnold Drive and Canyon Road to Diamond A Ranch Estates, along with High Road for a tour of Mission Highlands after a Mexican lunch at El Molino. The group will meet up at the clubhouse (518 College Ave Santa Rosa) from 10:30-10:45am, with kickstands up at 11am sharp. Including an off-scooter siesta from 12:30-1:30pm, Sunday’s 68-mile group ride will end back at the clubhouse no later than 4pm.
PostMods Club members will enjoy a free lunch at El Molino, but don’t leave your cash at home, everyone! This month’s raffle prize shall be a NOCO brand GB20 Boost Sport 500A Lithium Jump Starter, valued at $100 and strong enough to not only jump a dead battery on your scooter, but rescue most autos from the side of the road. Wanna be a roadside hero everywhere you ride? Tickets are just $10 apiece and 3 / $20. Want to enter to win but can’t make the ride this Sunday? Venmo the club at @PostMods before 5pm on Saturday for your chance to win— need not be present to take home the prize!
This Sunday’s group ride is free to the public and scooterists from every experience level are welcome to join the ride. The group will roll out from the clubhouse at 11am bound for Bennett Valley Road. We’ll hang a right onto Sonoma Mountain Road and wiggle our way to Glen Ellen then past Agua Caliente along Arnold Drive. We’ll roll thru Diamond A Ranch Estates following Canyon Road before pointing our scooters eastward into Sonoma for lunch al fresco at El Molino Central.
Following some of the best Mole sauce this side of Oaxaca Mexico, the group plans to take a winding detour up to Mission Highlands for a high elevation exploration overlooking Sonoma. If you’re pressed for time that afternoon, riders may opt out of the after-lunch tour of the hills high above town square and head home directly following El Molino Central.
