SAN FRANCISCO GROUP RIDE BOUND FOR PETALUMA

San Franciscan PostModsters and fellow scooterists are meeting at 10:30/10:45am at the Crissy Field Warming Hut Park Store and Cafewith kickstands up at 11am sharp.  Everyone should arrive with enough spare time to caffeinate, arrive warmly dressed in layers (for shedding as needed as the weather warms!), with a full tank of high octane.  The club’s Field Marshal Marco Vazquez shall lead the charge as riders cross the Golden Gate Bridge, ride out Sir Francis Drake Blvd to Nicasio Valley Road, and into Petaluma for a 1:30pm late lunch.

RSVP FOR THE SAN FRANCISCO GROUP

SANTA ROSA GROUP RIDE BOUND FOR PETALUMA

Northern PostModsters and fellow scooterists shall meet up at the RevMoto clubhouse at 11/11:15am, with kickstands up at 11:30 sharp.  Everyone should arrive fully caffeinated, warmly dressed in layers for shedding, with a full tank of high octane.  We’ll roll outta town along Guerneville Road headed for Occidental Road, then find our way thru Occidental.  We’ll sloooooowly wiggle our way over a short chunk of Coleman Valley Road then take Joy Road south to Bodega Hwy, where we’ll hop onto Highway 1 and point our scooters toward Tomales.  From there, we’ll hang a left at Tomales Petaluma Road and find our way to McNear’s Saloon to join up with our southern scooterists at 1:30pm for a bite to eat and socializing.

    Sunday, February 9th

    11:30am-4:00pm

    SR >> Calistoga >> Healdsburg

Hello fellow scooterists and happy 2020!

February’s First Sunday of the Month Group Ride shall be postponed so we might all root on local heroes the 49ers as they go head-to-head against the KC Chiefs.  Join the PostMods the following Sunday February 9th as we gather at the clubhouse (RevMoto) at 11am.  Our pre-ride safety meeting starts at 11:15am, with kickstands up promptly at 11:30am bound for Calistoga.  Arriving in Calistoga, we’ll make a quick refreshment pitstop at Soul Rebel Coffee at the intersection of Hwy 128 and Calistoga Road.

Once caffeinated, we’ll roll north and west toward Healdsburg, stopping for a late lunch at Kinsmoke. After lunch the group shall wind itself southward along Old Redwood Hwy back to Santa Rosa, completing the 60-mile loop as we arrive at RevMoto no later than 4pm.

Reservations are required. The ride will be limited to the usual 25 riders for maximum fun and safety.  Please reserve your spot before Friday, February 7th at 4pm so that we can make final plans for the ride.

OUR FIRST CLUB MEETING IN OVER 2 YEARS

As the PostMods’ Director of Membership and Recruitment, it is my sincerest honor to give voice to the club’s hopes and aspirations for 2020.  While we sit down to a nice meal together, I shall introduce members to the upcoming elections taking place in the first week of March (see below). I’ll present a progress report for this year’s fundraiser raffle and plans for the final push in selling the remaining $50 raffle tickets for the brand new Vespa GTS300.

The meeting’s itinerary shall focus on the new year’s riding season, upcoming club events and most importantly, filling up the monthly ride calendar for the 2020 season. I ask that everyone be sure to bring with them plenty of great ride route ideas, destinations of interest and any fun ideas y’all may have for group outings in and around Sonoma’s wine country.

    Revolution Moto Rides Again!

    Sunday, November 24th

    11:15am-4:30pm

    Bound for Diavola Pizzeria

This year, we are thankful that the majority of our friends and families were spared from the wildfire disaster up north.  Many of you inquired about whether or not the PostMods would be riding this month, as the Kincade Fire dashed our hopes of hosting our usual FIRST Sunday of the Month Group Ride.  Fear not, fellow scooterists, we’re making up for it on Sunday, November 24th!

Join us and give thanks this holiday season as RevMoto hosts our monthly scooter ride, this time taking the opportunity to ride some of our favorite back roads that were luckily spared from the 2019 wildfires.  The group will meet here at Revolution Moto as early as 11am, convene for a pre-ride safety meeting at 11:20, with kickstands up at 11:30 am SHARP.  We’ll point our scooters northward along Old Redwood Highway, then westward along River Road bound for Westside Road.  The scootering fun really starts as we turn our scoots onto West Dry Creek Road, where the twisties get narrower, the vineyards more colorful, and the foliage even more breathtaking.  We’ll post up along Geyserville’s diminutive main street for lunch at Diavola Pizzeria and Salumeria by 1pm.

With bellies filled with wood-fire oven pizza, fresh seafood and tasty pastas, we’ll head east and southward along Hwy 128 toward Jimtown and count our many blessings as we scoot along the precious Chalk Hill Road toward Windsor, where the myriad farms and family homes were spared from the Kincade Fire.  Once again rolling along Old Redwood Highway, we’ll plan to reach Revolution Moto no later than 4 or 4:30 that afternoon.

THIS ONE IS FOR THE BEGINNERS AND UP

NEARLY every rider experience level is welcome to join this month’s group ride, though we might recommend the inexperienced newbie scooterists/ city-only rider sit this one out.   Our route consists of unhurried twisty back roads throughout the 65 mile ride, and the group shall be taking our sweet time to really soak in the breathtaking scenery. You need not be a seasoned veteran rider, but please choose those rides which best align with your comfort level.

    Riders should:

    • Arrive no later than 11:15am
    • Arrive fueled up, caffeinated and dressed for the ride (wear warm gloves, bring plenty of layers)
    • Arrive early to check your trusty scooter’s tire pressure
    • Check in at RevMoto via Instagram or Facebook for a 10% discount good toward your scooter’s next service!

ONLY THE FIRST 25 SCOOTERISTS TO RSVP MAY RIDE WITH THE GROUP!!

RESERVE YOUR SPOT BEFORE WEDNESDAY NOV 20!
